The Outdoor Connection provides hands-on, interactive learning that sparks the imagination, unlocks creativity, and connects participants to their environment. Equipped with microscopes, telescopes, binoculars, nature science equipment, and nature art supplies, The Outdoor Connection empowers environmental stewardship by fostering a love of nature.
The Outdoor Connection, a program of the American Canyon Community & Parks Foundation, is Napa County’s first mobile classroom dedicated to nature and environmental education. Launched in spring 2023, The Outdoor Connection serves youth and families at the Napa River Wetlands, schools, community events, and summer camps.
