Stow It, Don’t Throw It Clean Up

ACCPF’s Play Team teen volunteers will be coordinating a Wetlands Edge Trail spring clean up. Stow It, Don’t Throw It is a youth-led, national conservation effort focused on fishing line clean up along local water ways.
In order to combat the dangers posed by improper disposal of monofilament fishing line, the Stow It-Don’t Throw It project mobilizes youth through the creation and distribution of personal-sized monofilament recycling bins. ACCPF’s Play Team is proud to take part in this national conservation effort. For more information about the Stow It, Don’t Throw It national campaign visit http://stowitdontthrowitproject.weebly.com.
Volunteers interested in joining ACCPF staff & Play Team will meet Wetlands Edge parking lot at 9:00 am. Clean up efforts will begin at the trailhead and conclude at Glass Beach. Conservation & clean up tools will be supplied.

Stay for ACCPF’s quarterly, FREE Wetlands Edge Coffee Morning upon completion of the trail clean up. The quarterly Wetlands Coffee Morning featuring FREE Starbucks coffee is scheduled for 9:30 – 11:00 am at the Welands Edge Trailhead.
