Winter Read & Walk

Celebrate the season and discover the newly installed winter StoryWalk with a free Read & Walk event in American Canyon! Enjoy an interactive reading of Mouse House Tales as you stroll along the trail, enjoy a seasonal snack and a fun nature-themed craft. The guided walk is short, flat, and suitable for all ages, taking approximately 20 minutes to complete. Everyone is invited to join this free community celebration and experience the magic of the changing seasons outdoors.

Guided read & walk adventures will take place at 3:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 4:30 pm.

The 16-kiosk StoryWalk American Canyon trail borders the perimeter of Shenandoah Park and features a different, interactive, nature-themed picture book quarterly. The StoryWalk trail is a flat, sidewalk trail accessible for all ages and abilities.
