Wine & Wild – Otters

Wine & Wild is back with a very exciting kick-off to the 2026 wildlife education series – river otters! We will be joined by Megan Isadore, co-founder of River Otter Ecology Project, for an educational evening featuring a fun & interactive video presentation on the North American River Otter. Learn why people are so fascinated by these adorable neighbors that frequent the American Canyon wetlands, the importance of healthy waterways, and how we can protect our watershed and our otter friends.

Napa’s RD Winery will be our host for the evening. Arrive early to enjoy wine and light snacks during the wine social before the wildlife presentation begins. Wine & Wild events are free to attend, with optional wine available for purchase by the glass. Wine social begins at 5:00 pm, followed by the wildlife presentation from 5:30 – 6:30 pm.

Wine & Wild is a free, wildlife education series presented by the American Canyon Community & Parks Foundation. The quarterly series features docent-led presentations hosted by local partner wineries. Wildlife presentations are approximately one hour and may include meet and greets with ambassador animals when appropriate. Come early to enjoy wine & light snacks during the pre-presentation social hour. Wine & Wild presentations are free to the public, with optional wine available for purchase by the glass.
