Wine & Wild

Join us for a wildlife presentation on coyotes from Project Coyote’s Program Coordinator, Sarah Killingsworth, a wildlife conservation photographer, filmmaker, and writer.

Sarah has spent years observing and documenting native predators in both suburban and wild environments and will share insights into how wildlife adapts to living in our midst and suggestions for coexistence with our wild neighbors. Sarah will share photos of California wildlife, including coyotes and bobcats, as well as coexistence tips. With an emphasis on native predators, Sarah’s photography highlights unique behavior and intimate portraits. Increasingly, as human development expands and traditional habitats shrink, many of these species are living in closer proximity to humans.

Arrive early to enjoy wine and light snacks during the social hour before the presentation. Wine & Wild events are free to attend, with optional wine available for purchase by the glass. Join us at RD Winery in Napa for Wine & Wild; reception 5:00 – 5:30 pm followed by the wildlife presentation from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. For questions email [email protected] or call 707-563-3757. Wine & Wild is a free, wildlife education series presented by the American Canyon Community & Parks Foundation. The quarterly series features docent-led presentations hosted by local partner wineries. Wildlife presentations are approximately one-hour and may include meet and greets with ambassador animals when appropriate.
