Fall Sunset/Moonrise Walk

Enjoy the sights and sounds of American Canyon’s beloved Wetlands Edge Trail by moonlight under the Hunter’s Moon. On the return trek to the trailhead, enjoy a peek at the Hunter’s Moon as it rises above the foothills to the east. Optional nature reflection prompts will be offered for those seeking a more mindful outdoor experience.

This is a 1.5-mile out-and-back walk at a casual pace on a flat, compact trail. Participants are encouraged to dress in layers and bring a flashlight for the return walk to the parking lot. Participants will meet at the Parks Foundation team at the trailhead kiosk.
