Discovery Day at Skyline Wilderness Park

Join the Outdoor Connection at Skyline Wilderness Park to celebrate the opening of Napa Storywalk, created by the Napa County Open Space District.  We will join Napa Open Space and renowned artist Favianna Rodriguez, for a day of reading, art, and exploration.

What is the Napa StoryWalk®?

StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for families to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. We’ve created a living art installation and placed pages from the book My Colors, My World, authored by Maya Christina Gonzalez along a walking path in your favorite parks to help kids get outside to enjoy nature and reading together. Take a walk and enjoy the park, the outdoors, and this wonderful book about our relationship to nature.

Tickets are free, but this event will fill up fast!

Renowned artist Favianna Rodriguez will be coming to Napa again to host another kids’ art workshop in the park with us. We’ve all had lots of fun together the past two years making butterfly wings & this summer Favianna is creating an entirely new art project for the kids to enjoy. Details and tickets will be posted soon and there will be a limited number of spots available.
