Wine & Wild – Native Bees
Join the Parks Foundation for an engaging presentation, the second in our 2026 Wine & Wild education series—where nature, community, and great wine come together. This edition shines a spotlight on Native Bees, the unsung heroes of our ecosystem. Learn about their vital role in pollination, how they differ from honeybees, and what we can do to support them in our own gardens and landscapes. The presentation is led by the knowledgeable team from the Napa County Beekeepers Association and is perfect for nature lovers, gardeners, and the simply curious alike. Enjoy a guided honey tasting, where you’ll sample and compare different varieties and discover the unique flavors of local honey. Arrive early for the wine social beginning at 5:30 pm, purchase a glass of wine, and connect with fellow community members before diving into the wildlife presentation at 6:00 pm for a fascinating look at the world of native bees. Legend Napa Valley will be our host for the evening. Legend Napa Valley is the custom crush pad located at the top of Napa Junction Rd. Follow Napa Junction Rd past the Little League fields and the new home construction. Make your way to the top of the hill and veer to the right to park in the gravel lot in front of the facility. Wine & Wild is a free, wildlife education series presented by the American Canyon Community & Parks Foundation. The quarterly series features docent-led presentations hosted by local partner wineries. Wildlife presentations are approximately one-hour and may include meet and greets with ambassador animals when appropriate. The wildlife presentation is free and open to the public.
