This summer, the Parks Foundation is thrilled to welcome two outstanding high school interns to our team: Ella Cummings and Tate Hilton! Both rising seniors at American Canyon High School, Ella and Tate, bring enthusiasm, leadership, and a deep commitment to environmental stewardship. They will be working closely with our professional staff to support environmental education, engage the community, and help expand our local conservation efforts.
Ella Cummings is no stranger to the Parks Foundation, having served as a dedicated Teen WILD volunteer. Her passion for the outdoors, creative spirit, and strong work ethic make her a perfect fit for this role. When she’s not working or volunteering, Ella enjoys hiking, painting, and staying active through sports. Her experience on the ACHS leadership team has prepared her well to take on this next chapter with confidence and purpose.
Tate Hilton is also a familiar face at the Foundation, bringing three years of experience as a Teen WILD volunteer. A dynamic leader on campus, Tate has held leadership positions in a variety of student groups, including the Tabletop Club, Peer Court, and Speech and Debate. With a love for storytelling and strategy, Tate balances his community involvement with a passion for reading and gaming. His thoughtful approach and wide range of interests make him an invaluable addition to our team.
We are excited to have Ella and Tate contribute their talents to our mission this summer. Be sure to say hello to them at our next Parks Foundation community event—they are eager to meet new faces and make a difference!
