Wetlands Coffee Morning & Nature Discovery Walk
Join the Parks Foundation for our fall Wetlands Edge Coffee Morning and nature discovery walk! Stop by for a cup of FREE Starbucks coffee & meet neighbors. Come for the coffee, stay for the beautiful views!
Parks Foundation staff and volunteers will be on site to meet & greet trail users from 9:30 – 11:00 am with hot coffee, cocoa, and tea. Bring your own reusable coffee mug or disposable coffee cups will be available as needed. Visit our information table to learn more about the Park Foundation’s planned Wetlands Ecology Center, The Outdoor Connection Trailside Learning Center, and other upcoming activities.
Interested in a little exercise with your coffee? Enjoy a guided nature discovery walk with our staff naturalist, Tammy. This event is designed for novices and open to all ages & accessible for most fitness levels. Meet at the trailside coffee station at 10:00 am to participate. Plan for a 90-minute observation walk around the wetlands ponds. Bring your binoculars if you have them!
