Newell Bright Start Social Hike
Kick off the new year right with a social hike with friends and neighbors at Newell Preserve Open Space. This hike combines two great activities…time with friends & family and exploring the great outdoors! Meet at 10:00 am at the Newell Trailhead. ACCPF staff & volunteers will be onsite to provide trail support.
The Newell loop trail is a 4.5 mile loop with approximately 600 feet of elevation change. Hikers will enjoy sweeping views of the Bay and the beautiful rolling green hills of the Newell Preserve. Trails can be uneven, hikers are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes, dress in layers, and pack water.
