Memorial Bench Sponsorship

Honor a loved one with a plaque on a bench or picnic table at one of your favorite parks.

Whether you select a location for its reflective solitude, or memories filled with laughter, your bench will give you a place to go, a place to remember, and years of recognition of the significant people or occasions in your life. The program offers bench and picnic table locations within the City of American Canyon’s network of parks and trails. Please view the map below for at list of available locations.

Program Details

The Picnic Bench and Table Sponsorship Program is managed by ACCPF on behalf of the City of American Canyon. Sponsorship costs range from $500 – $2,500 depending on location.  Benches, picnic tables, and plaques will be installed and maintained by the City of American Canyon.

​Commemorative plaques will be installed for a period of 10 years, at which point donors will have the first right of refusal to renew their sponsorship with a new donation. 

​Plaques are not meant to be memorial markers, exact birth and death dates are not permitted.

To get started please read through the Program Policy below and fill out an online application when you are ready. You are encouraged to choose a first, second, and third choice location for your bench or table. Installation times vary but typically take 8-12 weeks after payment is received.
