Exciting News! Outdoor Fitness Station to be installed at Wetlands Edge Trailhead this Spring!
At ACCPF's 2017 Evening at the Ruins fundraising event, 47 donors contributed $46,550 for an Outdoor Fitness Station at Wetlands Edge. Thanks to their generosity and some additional match from ACCCPF and Greenfields Fitness we are able to move forward with the project. Special thanks to Peter and Kim Stravinski for in-kind pour of the concrete pad needed for the equipment. Through partnership with the City of American Canyon the project will be installed in Spring 2020.
Greenfields Outdoor Fitness is the leading provider of outdoor fitness equipment to parks, schools, senior centers, colleges, universities and the military. Their core line of outdoor gym equipment employs the body's mass for resistance and be enjoyed by all ages, regardless of the users fitness level.
The Wetlands Fitness Center allows for 27 users on just 10 pieces of equipment. Units such as the 3 Person Static Combo provide moderate to advanced-level workouts, while other stations cater to entry-level users. Three of the 10 units are wheelchair accessible meeting ADA requirements. For more information about Greenfields please visit gfoutdoorfitness.com .

Each month 2,000 - 3,000 people use the Wetlands trails to exercise. This Fitness Station will provide additional workout opportunities that are free to the public and encourage a healthy, active lifestyle.
