Earth Day Every Day

"Preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, it's the only home we've ever known." -Carl Sagan.

Earth Day is a good reminder that we are the stewards of this planet. It is our responsibility to take care of it.  Climate change can feel overwhelming, but we have some great activities for you to participate in and steps you can take to make your own impact.

"The natural world is the larger sacred community to which we belong. To be alienated from this community is to become destitute in all that makes us human. To damage this community is to diminish our own existence." -Thomas Berry.

Suport The Ecology Center

With environmental concerns at an all-time high, ACCPF is leading the way for community conservation efforts. The newly envisioned Napa River "Eco Center" is poised as a hub for environmental education based on close proximity to the Wetlands opportunity for hands-on learning. Your support of the Napa River Ecology Center will:

  • Provide a home for environmental education, nature art, and science programs for students and community members in Napa County and beyond

  • Strengthen American Canyon as a leader in environmental leadership, research, and programming

  • Harness the power of our diverse community to further the conservation movement

  • "Root” our families in nature and develop the next generation of nature lovers who will help solve our most complex environmental issues

  • Create a space where Nature meets Community

There are so many ways that we can all make an impact on climate change and take care of the earth.  Check out some fun ways to learn about nature and our planet by following the links below.
