SUMMARY:Wetlands Invasive Plant Removal Volunteer Day
DESCRIPTION:The Parks Foundation, in partnership with Napa County Resource Conservation District, will host an invasive plant removal volunteer day to help protect the health of our local ecosystems! This volunteer project will focus on removing invasive artichoke thistle along the American Canyon Wetlands Edge Trail in American Canyon. All tools and safety equipment, including shovels, spades, and gloves, will be provided. Safety talk and instruction to be provided.\n\nThis event is best suited for adults and young adults, high school age and above. Long-sleeve pants and shirts are recommended. Volunteer service hours will be awarded.\nAdvanced registration is encouraged.
